November Backflow Info & Tips
- While testing, it is strongly recommended that when letting the pressure from the source into the gauge that you let it in slowly. Letting pressure hit the inner workings of any gauge at full force increases the possibility of rupturing the bellows or transducers.
- We recommend when your gauge is being shipped either by you or us, that you fully open the valves in case the gauge makes it onto a carrier’s airplane. Closed valves may get damaged if the airline ventures into altitude that promotes freezing. Open those valves.
- Some of your hoses have filters that will affect your gauges performance. The filters of the hoses should be replaced regularly.
- If your EZ900 gauge is electronic, voltage should not fall below 3.8. Operations of the gauge will be affected. If below 3.8, replace with Alkaline batteries for optimum performance.
